Jean-François is the founder and principal of Terres Neuves Consulting Limited, a consultancy focusing on partnering with asset gatherers for their investment product initiatives: Strategy, Marketing, Innovation, Governance.
Previously, he built the Product Strategy team of JPMorgan Asset Management to support and grow the JPMorgan Asset Management’s EMEA Funds Distribution platform.
Before JPMorgan, Jean-Francois worked at Unicredit, where he led the Pan European Fund Selection team, responsible for the selection of the funds offered by the UniCredit Private Bank in Italy, Germany, Austria and CEE. He initiated and rolled out their Preferred Partner programme, with a selection of 10 international asset managers as exclusive providers of fund solutions.
He has also worked at Pioneer Investments (now Amundi Pioneer Asset Management), AIG Investments (now Pinebridge Investments) and AllianceBernstein. He started his career in Investment Management in 1992 with Citigroup Asset Management, where he was responsible for European Product Management and Development.
Jean-Francois is the Chair of the Asset Management Distribution Roundtable Business Intelligence working group, which includes the BI leaders of over 20 European Asset Managers.
He has lived and worked in 7 countries. He is married to Melinda Atwood, a theatre producer in New York City. He and his wife love travelling and have done so extensively. He is very keen on performing arts, especially opera and theatre.
